COLUMBUS – The Columbus Crew announced their new primary kit for the 2026 MLS season Tuesday morning, naming it the “Crafted for Excellence Kit” which was designed by Adidas.
The kit features a black collar with yellow trim — the first collared shirt since 2018.

On the lower front left side is a jock tag, inspired by the City of Columbus flag with a bespoke design pulling in the texture of a soccer pitch and paying tribute to the Club being the first in MLS.

The top also features a secondary design, with the words “Wholeheartedly Committed to Crafting Excellence,” with the Crew’s founding year of 1996 inside the neck. The palettes show the colors coral and teal, which were debuted with the Clubs travel gear this year.

“We are proud to launch The Crafted for Excellence Kit, reflecting a team that leads through consistency and craft.
Always inspired by Columbus, Crew supporters and our collective history, the design pays tribute to the Crew’s legacy since being founded in 1996 while representing a renewed statement of who we are and what we stand for — excellence for the City of Columbus,” said Katie Foglia, Crew Vice President, Marketing & Brand Strategy.
The kit introduces the Crew and their pedigree to fans all over the world, and the spirit of the Club. Nationwide dons the front jersey sponsor, with DHL Supply Chain returning this year as the right sleeve sponsor.

Columbus open the 2026 MLS season on the road against the Portland Timbers, Saturday February 21. Kickoff is slated for 10:30pm EDT. You can watch the match on Apple TV.
