Ramirez joined the Columbus Crew in 2023, appearing in 30 games (19 starts), tallying eight goals and four assists. In 2024, Ramirez matched his goal total, while adding two more assists than his total in 2023.
Ramirez has spent multiple years in MLS, beginning in 2017 with Minnesota United recording 14 goals and three assists in 30 games played (27 starts). He then saw time with LAFC, and the Houston Dynamo before making a move to Aberdeen of the Scottish Premier League.
The Crew had other offers from America de Cali in Colombia, but none that suited the Crew’s or Ramirez’s best interest.
