Columbus Crew announces schedule changes ahead of Concacaf Champions Cup Final

The Columbus Crew announced Monday evening two schedule changes ahead of its Concacaf Champions Cup Final matchup against Mexican giant Pachuca on June 1.

Columbus will host the New England Revolution on October 12 and the Seattle Sounders on September 7. Both matches will kick off at 7:30 p.m. The matches were originally slated for Wednesday, May 29 , and Saturday, June 1.

The Black & Gold face off against Pachuca to crown the 2024 Concacaf Champions Cup winner and earn a 2025 FIFA Club World Cup spot. Columbus found its way into the final by taking down the Houston Dynamo, Tigres UANL, and CF Monterrey.

The Crew looks to become the second team in Major League Soccer to win the tournament after the Seattle Sounders won the continental competition in 2022. Columbus also became the second MLS side to advance to the final after defeating Liga MX opposition in the semifinals 2008-2009.
